Have you got a plan for what you want your business to look like in the next 1, 3 or 5 years?
This is often one of the first questions I ask a prospective new client and am often surprised about how many don’t give themselves time to plan one month in advance let alone one year. If there is anything good that has come out of the various lockdowns, it’s that many business owners have had the time and space to think and question how their business might look in the future. For many this has focused the mind on how they might change the way they do business.
Creativity and innovation are essential in these unprecedented times, as is including innovation strategy in your planning process. Your future plans need to be realistic but challenging and cashflow is key.
Coronavirus, as well as Brexit, has had a huge impact over the last year or more. All successful business owners will now be re-examining their business plans and cashflow forecast and adjusting, as necessary. This will ensure that they are aware of what needs to be done to stay on track and meet their strategic goals.
